Celiac Disease is a complex, chronic autoimmune intestinal disorder which is now recognized as one of the most common inherited diseases. The diagnosis of celiac disease is often challenging due to the broad range of symptoms in individuals which may be mild, severe, or not present at all. Once the diagnosis celiac disease is confirmed, the only treatment is strict adherence to a gluten-free diet for life.

Celiac Sprue Association®
The Celiac Sprue Association® remains the largest non-profit celiac support group in America, with over 125 chapters and resource units across the country, and over 9000 members worldwide. A dedicated force of volunteer officers and committee members serve as the organizations strong backbone, affectionately calling themselves "Celiacs Helping Celiacs." The Celiac Sprue Association®/ United States of America, Inc. (CSA/USA, Inc) is a member based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to helping individuals with celiac disease and dermatitis herpetiformis worldwide through research, education and support.
